Posh Asian Sets due to release!

8:43 PM
There are two new Posh Asian sets and I just love them.  I'm sure they will be a big hit.  Here s my favorite card I've done with the Asian set 1.  I kept the card simple because of the bold colors I used.  I just love how it came out.
I used the brushless watercolor technique.  Just dab your dye inkpads directly onto your stamps & then spritz it with water.  I added some Perfect Pearl (the color) Perfect Pearls to my water to add a shimmer.  Once your stamp is inked up, you should get about three impressions.  Just remember to spritz before you stamp each image.
Be sure to check out Della's post on http://www.clubposh.com/ under headlines if you are wanting to get the Asian Sets.  Also, become a club member if you aren't already one.  Remember to use coupon code SAVE10JIL to get 10% off of your order.  JIL

Another Vintage Card

12:20 AM
Hello,
I had this post set to go for Sunday, but I put in next sunday's date.  Whoops.  So, this will be a little late.  I double checked this Sunday's post & it is all ready to go.  I have a video on how I made this card up on You Tube.  I really like out things look when they're aged.  The aging process just tones down even the brightest colors.

Posh Sneak Peak

5:54 AM
Ok- So I have a bit of a sneak peak for you all.  I got my mail today & the two new Posh Asian sets were waiting for me.  Two full sheets of deepky etched red rubber from I Brake For Stamps. All for me! I went right home & started getting them ready for stamping.  Part way through, I thought it would be good to show everyone how I cut & mount my rubber onto ez mount.  So I made two video's.  Remember this is a sneak peak.  The sets will soon be on the website for everyone to purchase.  I'll be working with them over the weekend & post some samples soon.  Here are the vids:

10:30 PM
This is old news for many of you, but I'm very excited that Posh stamps have a new home.  They are going to be sold through I Brake For Stamps (IB4S) very soon.  I have a direct link to the website on my side bar.  Be sure to check them out because they have TONS of different styles of stamps.  Be sure to use my coupon code SAVE10JIL to get 10% off of your order.  You can use it over & over.  I am really looking forward to being a Posh design team member with IB4S.  Here is a Posh card to kick it all off.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I will plan to update my blog at lease once a week.  Please sign up to get updates.  As always I love comments.  Please let me know what you want to see.
This card is very easy to put together with just a few supplies.  I used the same Memento inkpad throughout the card.  I even used it to color the ribbon.
Stamps: Posh- Watercolor Florals 2, Alphabet Background
Paper: Ivory, Dark Brown Linen, Green Linen
Inks: Memento Bamboo Leaves
Accessories: SU!  Scallop Border Punch, Martha Stewart white ribbon
