Altenew Let It Shine Homework Day 2

Yesterday was another great class video for the Let It Shine class at Altenewcademy.com .  We went over adding embellishments to add the perfect touch to your card.  I have a hard time with this.  It's not that I don't want to add pretty things, it's that I want to add ALL the pretty things.  I just have to pick a point to stop.  I think many of us have that problem.  I kept things to a minimum because I used a very strong red in my background.

My card was inspired by a video I saw by Nina Marie.  She can be found at ninamariedesign.com .  I did the background the way she did & of course mine came out quite different.  Then I water colored three extra roses but added an additional top layer with Victorian Gold embossing powder (E.P.).  The rest of my card is pretty basic.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Jil
