Art Impressions Curious Mice Watercolor

I have loved the Art Impressions Watercolor images for years.  They came out with several new sets this year & I just can't wait to get my hands on them at the Scrapbook Expo In May, but until then I am working with what I have. The sets I am most excited about are the animals.  I got out the Try Folds Furries set to make my own scenes.  These mice looked really curious to me.  I explain exactly how I colored them in my video.  I used the methods I've learned from watching Bonnie Krebs here Art Impressions You Tube .  Every Wednesday Art impressions posts a new watercolor video on there.

The card was rather simple to put together using several different die cuts.  I used the oval STAX dies for the top two layers.  The green & blue layer is Bristol paper left over from my last video.  You can see that being made here .  I used the new Lawn Fawn Rainbow Plaid papers for the background layers.  I heat embossed the Avery Elle saying onto black paper with Super Fine Detail White embossing powder before I mounted it onto my card.

This is just a darling mini scene! The mice are so cute! I have that set of mice and I don't think I have watercolored with them yet. I hope to give it a try!
