Submarine Cubbie Fish Tank Shaker Card

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Submarine Cubbies die and stamp set to make a fish tank shaker card. I only used a few of images from the set, but you could add more.

I stamped the greeting onto a thin strip of white card stock using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and cut it with the Flag Double Stitched Dies..

I used the Aquarium Box Set Dies from Fun Stampers Journey to create the fish tank. I used a marbled glossy paper to cut out the box die and I cut a second one with white paper. When they're folded and glued together they form a box. I added a piece of acetate to the opening in the black paper. I cut a piece from the die set to make the top of the tank. I added a piece of paper from the Spellbinders Beach Day kit to the inside of the box and attached the colored images to the patterned paper with glue and foam tape. The leaves are from the Beach Day kit. I cut them from white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I added beads to the box and glued it together. I cut and anchor and the wheel with silver paper. The anchor is inside the fish tank.

Fun Fold Challenge

It's week one of the Fun Fold Challenge on the Art Impressions blog. Be sure to enter for the chance to win free stamps. I used four of the six freebie stamps. You can choose one of the animal stamps for free with your Art Impressions order.

I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers. The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post. I then cut the images out with Cutterbee scissors and set them aside. I stamped the greeting onto a thin strip of white card stock using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.

I added a layer of Silver glitter card stock to the front of a top folding white A2 note card. I attached a piece of patterned paper from Echo Park. I cut a hole in the front using the Circle Double Stitched Dies. I cut a decorative piece from the silver glitter card stock using the same circle die and a scalloped circle die. I then attached it around the circle opening.

The inside of the card contains a fun fold that I've been seeing on You Tube. It's a white piece of 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card stock. It's scored at 3/4", 4" and $ 3/4". I reinforced the score lines by folding them both directions. I applied adhesive to both of the 3/4" folds. The inside is attached by lining up the side with the single fold into the crease of the card with the adhesives facing up. I just closed the card to pick up the adhesive. I then folded the side with the two score lines and attached the adhesive to the card. Now there is a ledge when the card is opened. I added the greeting and the barn yard freebies to finish the card.

Udderly Fantastic Birthday card

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Udderly Fantastic stamp set to make a interactive Birthday Card. There is a Mini Action Wobble behind the cow and she wobbles around when touched. I made two similar cards and oriented them horizontal and vertical.

I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers. The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post. I then cut the images out with Cutterbee Scissors. I added a Mini Action Wobble behind the image and set it aside.

The base is an A2 side folding card. I added strips of patterned paper from Echo Park Let's party paper collection to the front of the card. I then added a piece of patterned paper that was cut with the Flag Double Stitched Dies. I also scalloped circle cut from a piece of teal paper. I then added a circle that was cut from white shimmer paper. I added the circles with foam squares. I then added the cow on the Mini Action Wobble to the center of the circle.

I stamped the greeting onto a piece of white card stock with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and cut it into a thin strip and attached it to the bottom of the card with foam tape.

Coffee House Matchbook

Hello Ai fans!

I used the MB Coffee Shop stamp and die set to make a tiny coffee house. I also used the MB Template and MB Envelope Die Sets. The envelope is optional, but really adds the cutest touch to your greeting.

I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers. The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post. I then cut the images out with the matching dies that come in the set. Edit - I actually cut and scored them by hand because I don't have the dies.

To finish the little card, I attached all of the colored pieces to the MB Template Die according to the directions on the packaging. I closed it up and put it into the unglued MB Envelope and used strong glue to attach the bottom envelope flaps. I find it's easier to glue the envelope together with my scene inside of it for proper spacing.

Better Soon card

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Better Soon stamp set to make a pop up card. If you need a card for a woman, there is a similar set available.

The card is an A2 top folding white note card. I added patterned paper from the Sea Glass collection from Recollections. I also added am oval from the Oval Double Stitched Dies using another piece of patterned paper. It's topped with a smaller oval with the greeting.

The inside of the card is a pop up. I added more patterned paper inside the card behind wher the pop up will go. I cut a strip of paper 1"wide and 4 3/4" long. I scored it at 1", 2", 3", 4" and 4 1/2" to form the pop up mechanism. I folded it into a square and attached adhesive to the back and bottom and attached it to the center of the card. I then attached the colored image to the front of the mechanism.

Holy Moly Slimline Birthday card

I used the Holy Moly stamp set to create a slimline Birthday card. These images are really fun to color and watch come to life.

I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers. The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post. I then cut the images out with my scissors. I added a piece of yellow patterned paper to the slimline card base after I added some "dirt" to the bottom of the card using Distress Ink. I then added the images using foam tape.

Tropical WTTW Polaroid Card

I used the Tropical Window To The World (WTTW)stamp set to make a Polaroid card. I really enjoyed embellishing it with die cuts..

I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers. The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post. I cut the image out along the lines of the square. I also added some glossy accents to the image.

I cut a Polaroid with a My Favorite Things Die, but you can cut it with some square dies. I added a piece of silver paper behind the opening and attached the WTTW square to the center of the opening. I then attached it to the front of the card on an angle. I then added some die cuts and gems from the Spellbinders May 2021 Card Kit of the Month.

Birthday Card Challenge

It's week two of the Birthday Card Challenge on the Art Impressions blog. Be sure to enter for the chance to win free stamps. There are two new Laugh Line releases and a Birthday Cake Gift Card Holder. I used the Rockin' Laugh Line set.

I cut a piece from the Echo Park Happy Birthday Girl paper pad with the A2 Rectangle Double Stitched Dies and attached it to a purple A2 card. I splattered a piece of Canson XL Watercolor paper with Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink. Once it was dry I cut it with the Circle Double Stitched Dies. I attached the circle towards the top of the card and attached the image to it with the Mini Action Wobble. I stamped the greeting with Versafine Claire Nocturne ink and cut it into a thin rectangle that I attached to a piece of Kraft paper with foam tape.

Boat Shadowbox Card

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Boat Shadowbox stamp and die set along with the 3D Frame Die. It's been fun combining the new Shadowbox images with some older frames like this 3D die.

I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers. The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post. I then cut the boat out with the matching dies that come in the set. I used the square die from the Shadowbox Window Die to cut out just the image. I attached the boat over the water with foam tape.

I cut double sided paper to cut the 3D Frame Die. I assembled it following the directions on the package. I cut a window from the Shadowbox Die cut. I added them over the image with a double layer of foam tape before I added it to the center of the frame.

Barn Dance Challenge

It's week two of the Barn Dance Challenge on the Art Impressions blog. Be sure to enter for the chance to win free stamps. There are two new Funny Farm sets. I used the Gullfriend stamp set for this beachy Birthday card..

The background is on a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper. I cut a hill into a full sheet of masking paper. I placed the bottom part over the mask over where I wanted the hill. I then cut straight across the top part of the mask to create a horizon line and placed it above the hill. I then blended Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink over the sky area. Once it was dry, I placed the mask over the sky and removed the middle mask and blended on Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. Once that was dry, I place the horizon line mast back in place and removed the bottom mask. I blended it with Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress ink. I also splattered it with Vintage Photo Reinker. I removed all of the masks and splattered the entire image with water and white paint.

Mr. Hats Off Pop Out Card

Hello Ai fans!

I used the New Mr. Hats Off stamp and die set to make a pop-out card. As you can see, he is social distanced & wearing his mask. There is a video at the end showing you how I put the card together.

I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers. The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post. I then cut the images out with the matching dies that come in the set. I slipped the hat to Mr. Hats off using the cut line that was formed by the die and glued the two pieces together.

I used the Rectangle A2 Double Stitched dies to cut out two rectangles from white cardstock. I then cut the grass from one of the rectangles. I colored the grass with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink. I colored the full rectangle with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide ink. I cut clouds with a Lawn Fawn Die and colored just the bottoms with Stormy Sky Distress Ink.
