Stamp A Scene Challenge

Hello Ai fans!

Art Impressions just released three new mini Try Folds today and the new challenge is Stamp a Scene.  You could win prizes showing off your card that is showing a scene.  Be sure to read about it and enter on the Ai blog.

I used the super cute  Ai  Halloween Mini Try Fold  Set 4928 for my card.  It's really easy to make a mini try fold card because the directions are in the package with the stamps.  The dies to cut the windows are also included with the stamps.  It makes the cards really simple to put together.  I added layers to my card for some added interest.

You can see all three images when you open the front door on the card.  Like I said, The die cut that cuts the door is included in the package.  It cuts three sides of the door and scores one side of the door so it opens & closes.

All three layers are cut with the MFT double stitched oval STAX and edged with a Black Soot Distress Ink Pad.

I used my favorite paper collection on this card.  It's called Eerie and is from Basic Gray.  Sadly it's discontinued and the company is out of business.
The jewels on the front of the card are meant for nail art.  They came in a wheel.  They're really inexpensive and perfect for card making! I attached them to the card with multi matte medium.

Everything was stamped onto Soectrum Noir Ultra Smooth Cardstock and stamped with Onyx Black Versafine Ink.

The images were colored with my Prismacolor pencils. Some of the images were blended using blending stumps and Gamsol.

Door and Wood - Sepia, Terra Cotta
Window - Pale Vermillion, Canary Yellow
Pumpkins - Yellowed Orange, Pale Vermillion, Poppy Red
Cat - Black , Pink
Hat - Violet
Candy - Apple Green, Violet, Electric Blue, Canary Yellow, Pale Vermillion, and Black

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!
