Lots of Layers Challenge

Hello Ai fans!

It's week two of the Lots of Layers! Challenge on the Art Impressions Blog. Be sure to check it out and enter a card for the chance to win some fabulous prizes.  We're celebrating the release of the NEW Christmas clear stamps. I'm using the Snow Friends Set. I had a hard time picking between the cute snowman images. As you can see, I went with the trio of snowmen that spell out the word Joy. I decided to go with something a little different and make a wiper card. The card looks like a regular card when you take it out of the envelope, but it reveals a surprise message as it opens.
The images were stamped onto Spetrum Noir Ultra Smooth paper with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink and colored with Copic markers.  The colors used are listed at the end of this post. The main layer was cut with the Rectangle A2 Double Stitched Dies. The next two layers were cut from the BoBunny Father Christmas 6x6 paper stack with the same dies.  They were all added to the card front.  The colored cardinal was fussy cut and added to the image with foam tape. A Sakura Stardust Gelly Roll pen was added to the stripes on the hat & scarves on the snowmen. It added a shimmer that the camera didn't pick up.  Black Nuvo Crystal Drops were added to the buttons.
The wiper card was very simple to put together.  I just used a tutorial from SplitCoastStampers.  You can find the full supply list and directions here.
