Is That Cake?

Happy New Year's!  I hope you all enjoyed your Holiday's!  You might recognize this card.  It's from the Winter Creativation release.  I think these guys are really funny because they look like they haven't shaved in some time.  They're from the Ole Buck Set . I thought they might be perfect for the man in your life.

The images were stamped onto Spetrum Noir Ultra Smooth paper with My Favorite Things Extreme Black Ink and colored with Copic markers.  The colors used are listed at the end of this post.  The ground was added using a series of small dots with the tips of the brown Copic markers.  Just start with a higher concentration of dots closer to the image and scatter them more as you get farther away from the image. The dot technique is a really great way to add texture to your images and backgrounds.

The background was added using paper from the American Crafts Color of Memories 12" x 12" sheet of paper.  The Pink Paislee Outfitters 6" x 6" collection was also used.  Some My Minds Eye enamel dots were added to the entire card as a finishing touch.

Face - E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair - E35, E37, E39
Blue - BG70, BG72, BG75
Green - YG61, YG63, YG67
Yellow - Y21, Y23, Y26

Brown - E30, E31, E33
Black/Grey - C7, C5, C3, C1
