Interactive Cards Challenge with the Wheelies Stamps

Hello Ai fans!

It's week two of the Interactive Cards Challenge on the Art Impressions Blog.  Be sure to check it out and enter a card for the chance to win some fabulous prizes. We are featuring the New Wheelie stamp release.  There are two new interactive stamp sets for you to enjoy! I am using the Birthday Dog Wheelie. The stamps, dies, brads and directions are all included in the set so you can make an interactive card with a dog that rides a bicycle with a basket filled with chicks.  When your recipient opens the card there is a tab for them to turn to make the dog peddle the bicycle.

The images were stamped onto Copic X Press It paper with Gina K Designs Black Amalgam Ink and colored with Copic markers.  The colors used are listed at the end of this post. I hand cut the dog out and used the included dies to cut all of the additional parts.

I used the DCWV Playful Pets 6" x 6" Mat Stack to decorate the card base.  The circle die from the stamp set was used to cut a hole behind the moving wheel. The dog image was glued down so the moving wheel was positioned right over the cut hole. I then assembled the interactive parts according to the directions on the stamp set.  I stamped "Life Is Beautiful" onto a piece of cardstock cut with the Tag Stitched Dies. The tag die was attached to the card with foam tape after I strung some pink ribbon through the hole.
