Kid At Heart Challenge with a Castle Cubbies Pop Up Box Card

Hello Ai fans!

It's week two of the Kid at Heart Challenge on the Art Impressions blog. Be sure to enter your creations for the chance to win some fun prizes.  I used the Castle Cubbies Set to make this fun pop up box card.  I love the cubbie sets because they come with a main image and a bunch of characters along with the matching dies. It was really fun to color all of the images in bright colors.
I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth paper with Gina K Designs Black Amalgam Ink and colored them with my Copic markers.  The colors used are listed at the end of this post. After they were all colored, I cut them out with the matching dies. I also stamped the greeting with Versafine Nocturne Ink onto a banner die cut.
I cut the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Card die from pink card stock.  I cut three of the center panels with the same card stock.  I then cut the small decorative panels from the Echo Park Happy Birthday 6" x 6" paper and attached them to three of the flaps.  I left one of the large sides blank. It will be the back of the card.
I then put the box card together according to the directions on the package.  I was sure not to fold the piece that was intended to be the back of the card.  I attached the castle to the back piece.  I then cut tiny strips of acetate to add to the back of all the small characters.  I attached the characters to the three center panels at varying heights.
