Reason For the Season Challenge

Hello Ai fans!

It's week two of the Reason For the Season Challenge on the Art Impressions blog.  Be sure to enter the challenge for the chance to win free stamps. I used the Animal Nativity stamp and die set for this slim line card. I love the long format because it gave me room to use all of the images in the set.
I started by stamping the images onto Canson XL watercolor paper with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and painted them with Daniel Smith watercolors.  I then cut the images out with the matching dies that come in the set.  i stamped the greeting onto a slim white strip of paper with the same Versafine ink.
The background of the card is a ink blended piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper.  It's blended with Distress inks and the mini ink dabbers.  I used scattered straw, mustard seed, salty ocean, chipped sapphire and black soot.  I added the hay stamp all over the bottom of the card with scattered straw Distress Oxide ink.  I attached the greeting and images with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!
