Under the Sea Challenge

 

Hello Ai fans!

It's week two of the Under the Sea Challenge on the Art Impressions blog.  Be sure to enter for the chance to win free stamps. There are two new cubbies.   I used the New Hen House Cubbie Set.  I thought it would be fun to have some rainbow chicks.

I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers.  The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post.  I then cut the images out with the matching dies that come in the set. The hen house even cuts out the doors and windows.

I made a colorful cloudy background with Tim Holtz Watercolor paper, Distress Ink and the MFT mini cloud die.  I used the following Distress inks, Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, Bundled Sage, and Tumbled Glass. I then cut it out with the Oval Double Stitched dies.

Red - YG17, R27, R05

Yellow - Y17, Y13, Y11

Green - G28, G17, YG07, YG01

Teal - BG49, BG13, BG11, G00

Blue - B04, B02, B000, BV0000

Purple - BV17, BV11, BV000, BV0000
