I love doing my homework for this class! I got a bit side tracked over the weekend. I took two days to organize in my stamp studio. I am constantaly doing that, but I've been doing it way more since the move. I decorated some of my utility items like my recycled paper holders. I had three medium flat rate mailers with the tops cut off to hold my 12 x 12 paper pads. I made one more and painted it with Ranger Black Gesso. Then I decorated them with some Colorbok paper. The12 x 12 paper wasn't long enough, so I punched out a deep edge Martha Stewart punch. All of the paper is edged with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I also covered the box that holds my chipboard scraps. I'm really happy with how it all turned out. I hope you enjoyed your weekend. JIL

About Jil Lebel
I'm Jil Lebel from Kissimmee, Florida. I'm about 20 minutes away from Walt Disney World and take full advantage of that fact by visiting the parks all the time. I've been married to the love of my life Joey for ten years now. We have two grown sons and several cats and dogs. I started stamping about 25 years ago when I was pregnant with my first son Kane, when I worked in a craft store. I learned how to heat emboss a rubber stamped image over a toaster and I was hooked on card making! I was on the Posh Impressions Design team many years ago. I did samples, make and takes, demos and classes for many stamp stores in Central Florida. I love to work with a little bit of everything but all types of water coloring are my favorite. I have had a long love affair with Ai stamps. I bought some Ai watercolor stamps to make faux postage in the early 2000's and now I have the entire watercolor collection. I also love the humor and animated faces of the Ai characters and look to them for funny cards. I am delighted to be a part of the Ai design team!
