Summer Stampfest was in Lakeland this year & we decided to go. We spent quite a few hours wandering around taking in what we could. I just got around to posting this video showing you some of the highlights of the show. I'll have some pictures below. Joey & I had a great time. I didn't buy too much, it was more about the people we spent time with. The stamping & scrap booking community is so genuine. Check out the links at the end. You can find everything but the Me & Carrie Lou Stamps. Thank you for stopping by! Jil
Here I am with Ted from Stampers Anonymous.
This is Emma Lou from Heartfelt Creations.
Dyan Reaveley was tons of fun to be around.
This is the tag that Ted made for me. The texture is out of this world.
I made this flower with the stamp I bought from Heartfelt Creations.
I'm Jil Lebel from Kissimmee, Florida. I'm about 20 minutes away from Walt Disney World & take full advantage of that fact by visiting the parks all the time. I've been married to the love of my life Joey for ten years now. We have two grown sons & several cats & dogs. I started stamping about 25 years ago when I was pregnant with my first son Kane, when I worked in a craft store. I learned how to heat emboss a rubber stamped image over a toaster & I was hooked on card making! I was on the Posh Impressions Design team many years ago. I did samples, make & takes, demos & classes for many stamp stores in Central Florida. I love to work with a little bit of everything but all types of water coloring are my favorite. I have had a long love affair with Ai stamps. I bought some Ai watercolor stamps to make faux postage in the early 2000's & now I have the entire watercolor collection. I also love the humor & animated faces of the Ai characters & look to them for funny cards. I am delighted to be a part of the Ai design team!
